1S-Tel, a joint venture between India’s Siva Group and Bahrain Telecommunications (Batelco), has received a Rs 953 crore line of credit from a consortium of 8 banks. The consortium, led by IDBI, has extended the credit valid for a nine-year period at 12.75 per cent interest.

STELRCOMReliance Communications (RCom) has signed a telecom infrastructure sharing agreement from new telecom operator S Tel, which covers telecom towers, transmission and fibre backbone. RCom will execute the deal through its tower subsidiary Reliance Infratel, in which it holds a 95 per cent stake.
