Network services provider GTL Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 58.82 crore for third quarter ended December 31, 2009, an 85.90 per cent rise from Rs 31.64 crores recorded during the corresponding quarter of previous financial year.
Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom) has posted a net loss of Rs 37.71 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009, compared with a net profit of Rs 397.04 crore recorded for the same period of previous financial year. Its total income fell to Rs 3109.66 crore during the quarter under review, as against Rs 3398.73 crore recorded during the same period of previous financial year, the company said in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Reliance Communications Ltd has informed BSE that its board will meet on January 30, 2010, to consider and approve results for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.
Tata Teleservices Maharashtra Ltd (TTML) has posted a net loss of Rs 100.76 crore in third quarter ended December 31, 2009, compared with a net loss of Rs 45.07 crore recorded during the same period of previous financial year.
Bharti Airtel recorded a net profit of Rs 2,237 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2009, down by 3.75 per cent, compared with Rs 2,321 crore recorded for the same period a year ago. The company’s revenue rose to Rs 10,304 crore from Rs 9846 crore in the September quarter.

Anil Ambani group telecom service provider Reliance Communications (RCom) has posted a 51.6 per cent fall in net profit of Rs 740.30 crore on a consolidated basis for second quarter ended September 30, 2009. RCom, which had made provisions of Rs 283 crore against MTM losses, had recorded a net profit of Rs 1,530.78 crore during the same period of previous financial year.
